Here's a reminder: The next dinosaur I'm going to post is going to make some people hate me, and that is ok.

Also, tell me something about robustness, skinny animals/compressed animals.

Am I missing something here?

I know this is not a straightforward question, but is trying to draw dinosaurs a bit less fat a bad thing? This was brought up by a commenter who took aim at the "Allosaurus of dischord", and I've been wondering about it ever since.

Don't worry, my next two dinos are gonna be FAT accordingly.

Allosaurus pictured is meant to depict a subadult Allosaurus. If I were to do it again, an adult of either sex, I would draw it mostly naked. MOSTLY.

That is all. Spring break cometh, giving me time to work on stuff that's due. After the next dinosaur (If you've seen "the classics" list), I'm gonna break protocol and...uh. Just wait and see.

Thanks to the watchers, and even more thanks to the commenters, who make me think in a mostly braindead world.

Most nowadays draw "fat" dinosaurs because they don't want GSP to rage at them for "copying" his shrinkwrapped style.
And of course the notion that healthy animals don't follow their skeletal outline too closely.
